Description: Mission to investigate cause of mysterious explosion at Illinois of Research Institute.

Conclusion: 7 students, Doctor Verd, Assistant Greta were involved in an experiment called H.E.C.R.A (High Energy Cosmic Ray Accumulator) the goal to create a infinite energy source. As if any endeavor mistakes can occur the power source exploded sending reaction particles & radiation outward, oddly the explosion didn’t have any shrapnel and must have had high heat as the window upon inspection had melting from the inside out. We claimed we we EPA (a good call from recruit Gibson) although not dressed for the part when one of the students stirred. Although irradiated it wasn’t enough to pose a threat to us, after speaking to the student we learned 2 students were missing Veronica & Edward. This is where Greta stirred and we learned more about what they were trying to demonstrate. Searching we found odd traces of yellow green sludge trail behind a air vent & scuff marks leading to another door possible the 2 missing students? Medics were called, while searching outside we ran into a cryptid its eyes glowed, had low arm appendages its skin charred black with shiny metallic crystal spots. It charged seeming as if targeting Greta & the Doc, we fired on it (it seemed to be resistant to our gunfire) it tripped but running on it fours beastly like it had increased speed and ability to leap around 8 meters easily it escaped over the building. While facing this cryptid I noticed it was wearing an old Casio watch, at this point the assistant Great seemed to have recognized it as the watch one of the missing students named Veronica. It would seemed the crytpid were in fact the two missing students perhaps changed via the burst of Hecra energy radiation. After escorting several students to a secure storage room we set upon trying to locate the crytpid assuming they might although beastly continue some habits as if going to their dorms or vising areas of the institute. Heading back to the lab battle ensued with the charred crytpid formally Veronica. Gibson & myself were wounded greatly in this combat encounter, while downed from wounds we were informed from the others the cryptid was going to charge the Doc but somehow in the moment Greta started producing a High gravity field on the cyrptid (maybe the blast somehow mutated some of the students but gave Greta this ability?). After trapping the creature under a projector we coup de gras it, searching the vents we have the body of Edward it looked like his innards were squeezed out, following the trail it lead into the local sewers (precaution advised for possible sightings). While we were in surgery it seems somehow Doctor Verd & Greta managed to elude our watchers, leaving me to hypothesize maybe the Doc has also gained some ability?.

Mission Outcome Evaluation: The cause of the explosion was unforeseen from the Doctor’s statement, unknown if the device was tampered with. Research documents have been secured & video/camera footage. Recruit Gibson although giving a very military aura was helpful although the odds were stacked against us, our mish mash group is definitely under equipped for missions where the unnatural are prevalent. I have requested some gear resources from Dimitri, additional to be decided on our team members individual skill sets

Description: Mission was to investigate possible supernatural phenomenon from the Desmond family in Kenosha (grandfather was part of the Hoffman institute and had innate psychic abilities). We were to pose as news crew to interview the family and investigate cause.

Conclusion: When we were leaving in the van to Kenosha a straight signal sounded from the radio, Gus summarized it was morse code and for some odd reason it wanted us to go local toy store and pick up a Bun Bun? The message indicated it was time sensitive and indicated we must come together (smells like a trap of some sort to me) Against my better wishes the group wanted to follow up on this, after spotting the doll. Another individual well built and had some sort of tattoo and claimed he had to have this doll, a scuffle incurred he was definitely trained, taking about the doll it seemed to be have a dead end.

Auxiliary Clive W Wilson was abducted via UFO (if he returns will need to be watched). No signs of supernatural phenomenon this case was innate psychic ability from Jerry Desmond been amplified by possible alien technology a crystal & circuit board combination (sample & photo enclosed) this caused his uncontrolled powers during the night and one case while we were interviewing them an outburst happened causing minor injuries to some of the group. The ex-wife Heidi Rammock Desmond apparently had psychic ability to influence you, as she displayed this to make Clive step back into the UFO’s tractor beam, I suspect this ability was given to her somehow maybe from her alien allies. Heidi had surgery it seems to change her face & colored her hair she was posing as the history teacher named Amanda Jernigan (photo & footage enclosed) as the history teacher she seemed to have planted multiple hidden crystal/circuits several of which we found in trophies in the Desmond household. The Men In Black were spotted outside the Desmond home and immediately left when approached but they were present during the Highschool Football game, my guess is they are either an organization under perhaps and alien or in disguise (photo & footage included).

Jerry Desmond after experiencing all these events I chatted with him and gave him a card to Hoffman Institute (possible recruit for a later date if he decides another course of employment).

Mission Outcome Evaluation: Successful discovered why supernatural accounts were happening in the Desmond household, although Clive W Wilson was abducted in the end he displayed a charismatic personality to talk to individuals, along with his partner Doug Nichols who handles the cinematography they seem willing to put themselves in danger to get the scoop. Delbert McClintlock has knowledge in alien lore & conspiracies along with his profession will be useful for any missions with his skill set. Tony Cheng competent in physical prowess although he has made it clear he’s unwilling to continue working with the Hoffman Institute. Gus seems a tech wizard with street smarts and her small statue allows her to possibly infiltrate harder to get to areas. As for myself I feel I need to train in some investigative skills although it isn’t my forte, I’m more training in combat skills & lacking in personal and finer details.
